How to Sand a Wooden Floor - Page 6Fill any gaps in the floor.Smaller gaps in parquet floors and floorboards can be filled with Bona Mix & Fill. When you are filling gaps in floors Mix & Fill, do as follows: Empty the dust bag on the edge sander and take the sawdust that results from sanding with grit 80 paper. Blend the sawdust with Mix & Fill so that it forms a thick paste. Apply over the entire floor with a stainless steel spatula. Let dry. This should take about 30 minutes. If there are large gaps (i.e greater than 2mm width) you may need to fill the floors an additional time. |
